Låt den rätte komma in (2008) aka "Let the Right One In". Movie Gems are hard to come by, but here is one. Everything just worked. A simple story, a simple setting somewhere in Sweden, and two main kid actors who nail it. And just when you think horror/vampire, it turns out to be a cute and innocent love story. No million dollar special effects, no A list stars, just a movie running of the basic good stuff. A movie made today can still be good. Voila:
