No-tell-motel

They really got this secret rendezvous hotel down to an art here in Manila. You pull in your car into a hotel lobby, don’t get out, a person asks for your reservation and then gives you a key. Then you park in a garage which every room has a separate one, go up to your room and never be seen by staff members. Room services is provided in a small room in between your room and the door.
Why all the secrecy and why so common? Well after talking to many people and finding out that their father had an additional family, the proper term that they used was falanderer. Filipino man are infamous for extra marital affairs, hence the secrecy and the abundance of these no-tell-motels, some even be the hour. And what was I a single guy doing there? Well, Expedia.com didn’t exactly tell you about the on goings at these establishments. I read free wi-fi, breakfast included, saw cool room pictures with themes, and most importantly understood $40/night. Needless to say, I only spent one night before I felt the need to be somewhere else.
